This is the colour version of the Captain Britain and MI13 #6 Zombie variant.

Not sure who did the colours on this variant cover, but the lineart is by me, after Bryan Hitch.

Yeah 1:10 variant ratio sucks. I'm lucky my retailer held some of the variants I forgot to order.

There were some on eBay last I checked, but, depending where you are, you may have to buy a couple of things to make shipping worth your while.

Yeah, this Zombie thing Marvel is doing is not for everyone; the gore is gratuitous, but it's meant to be overboard, and zanily absurd.

Zanily absurd ? Kill Bill is like that (lot of blood, awesome dialogues) but on this serie...

Spider man eat his mother and his girl friend ("lol."), Captain America without the top of his head, the head of She Hulk explosed (by the way, sicked by the details... No niple or sex on Marvel : only brains and guts...).

The fans like to see their heroes like that ?!

Well...

Funnily enough, I hated Kill Bill and turned it off halfway through. :laughing: I used to like Tarantino, but in my opinion, Kill Bill was boring, unoriginal, had unnecessary violence (I don't mind violence if it has a use, but I don't think it helped the storytelling in anyway), and I didn't really think much of the dialogue. Each to there own I guess. :shrug:

I have not actually read any of the Marvel Zombies series (I've only done a couple of variant covers; that was more than enough for me), but yes that does sound zany and absurd to me. I personally think this excessive amount of cartoon gore is not shocking at all, and actually has the reverse effect, it's so overboard to the point of making it silly.

And yes Americans are funny in that they don't have a problem showing violence/gore, but cringe at the sight of a nipple. They'd probably have a heart attack if they were to print some of the stuff in your gallery. :laughing: I've only had to redraw three things in my career, and unsurprisingly, two of them were deemed to be too sexual in nature.

Poor Janet Jackson during the super bowl :) For the gore, I'm afraid by the new comics and films : SAW, Alien vs Predator 2 (little boy disemboweled and pregnant women killed). I hope the usa'll be more cool in the futur (the europe "copy and past" the usa...).
