Alright, this is me pretending to be a colourist again :laughing:. Like the Hulk piece I did, this started out as a morning warmup sketch, then I decided to paint it up in Painter IX. This is my fourth painting in Painter (after the Hulk and two other quick paintings), so I hope it turned out alright. I didn't record any of the Photoshop process in the video, but you can see me rendering in Painter, and I describe all my steps along the way.

Really nice work!! I've had painter for a few years but never had the time to dick around with it. It's on my list of things to do when my son leaves for school. Only 14 years to go!!!

Yeah, but I don't really do a lot of digital stuff, so it hasn't really been a priority. I really need a new monitor, and to upgrade this computer, before I get a tablet... actually I need to buy a whole bunch of non-work related stuff before that (especially if the wife has her say :laughing).

I'll get one one day.

Not *that much* varying of opacity. I let the blender brush mix a lot , and choose colours wisely (hopefully).
