Inked with Rapidographs and Brush.

Since FW changed their black india ink formula to that thin, greyish swill they have now, I've had to find new ink to use. So I've been trying out Speedball ink on this piece, which is not bad. Also bought some Pěběo India ink too, which I'll have to try out on a piece soon (the sample I tried looked a nice rich black).

White effects were done with Windsor & Newton Process White.

I have a few uninked sketches...what is the best way to ink a drawing without destroying it?

Just do a good job.

Seriously though if you want to preserve your pencils, just scan them into your computer, and then make a blue line (i.e. change your blacks to cyan about 20% - 25%) printouts of them and ink over that.
