Well Leinil's a buddy and I dig his art, plus we share similar influences, and we were both students of Whilce Portacio.

As for Jim Lee, I got hooked on comics through his X-Men run, so yeah HUGE influence.

Great use of black. I like this solid B&W style much more than your full tonal stuff, but that's just personal preference.
