Well I took a break from work for my little jaunt overseas, but now it's time to get back down to business. I've got a few things on my plate at the moment.
First up is the just announced
What If? Astonishing X-Men [link] I decided to do this project because Marvel are using digital painters to paint over the pencil art on these books, so I was interested to see what this would be like over my work. Our book is being written by supercool Jim McCann. I'm not sure if this is his first writing gig, but I'm pretty sure most of you are familiar with Jim from the Marvel panels at various conventions, or have at least seen his name around as he does a lot of the big marketing stuff at Marvel. The art of course is by me, but I'm also being paired up with fellow deviant

Kai Spannuth, who will be working his digital painting magic over my pencils.
I'm also working on some more
X-Factor redesigns as I type this... a lot of cool
[link] stuff
[link] coming up with that title

... I've got to get my issue #200 cover in for that soon too.
Speaking of covers, I'm finally going to get to colour my own covers! While it's been cool collaborating with various colourists (and I will still continue to do so from time to time), and they've worked some wonders over my lineart, I can't wait to get my whole artistic vision on the page. So excited

for that! Right now I've got three other Marvel covers on my plate... I'll divulge details on those when I can.
Anyway I'm need to get back to work!!!
P.s. Here are a few con sketches I did recently, which I noticed posted on Comicartfans:
